Registered Behavior Technician; RBT

Clarksville Autism Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team. We are hiring multiple clinicians to meet our growing need – apply today! The RBT will work directly with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in helping children develop essential skills and improve their quality of life through applied behavior analysis techniques.

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record data on the child's progress and behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across different environments.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to special education and applied behavior analysis.

• Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is preferred.
• RBT certification is required.
• Previous experience with high‑aggression youth is highly desired; willingness to work with this population is a must.
• Familiarity with data collection methods and ABA terminology is essential.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices is required.
• Experience in behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques is a plus.
• A background in special education or related fields will be beneficial for this role.
