The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and for ensuring day‑to‑day patient care quality in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

• Perform ultrasound imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Demonstrate surgery and portable exam capabilities.
• Accurately follow physician orders and document exam completion in Meditech.
• Scan and verify images in PACS.
• Apply quality control procedures and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• Document patient history, including lab values, per proper procedures.

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registration (or to be obtained within 6 months).
• Current BLS certification.
