Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer with extensive experience in designing plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This role requires expertise in plumbing design, including water distribution, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and gas piping, with a strong emphasis on compliance with local and national codes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a collaborative approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities- Design and layout plumbing systems for a variety of building types, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools to create detailed design documents.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to develop integrated and cohesive design solutions.
- Manage multiple projects, balancing timelines, budget constraints, and client requirements.
- Present design concepts to clients and address any concerns or modifications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest plumbing codes, standards, and industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in plumbing design, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of local and national plumbing codes (e.g., IPC, UPC).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
