• Part time position from August-May
• Agree to abstain from alcohol and drugs during the time of employment
• Caring for and supervising a group of 6-16 young children
• Implementing the provided curriculum and daily activities as directed
• Gearing the program to the needs of the children with concern for their individual interests, talents, and individual style and pace of learning
• Treating each child with dignity and respect
• Responsible for their classroom’s arrangement and appearance
• Able to build relationships with children and their parents
• Responsible for cleaning toys and classrooms according to Long Hollow Weekday Preschool Policies
• Participate in annual CPR training and attending seasonal staff meetings
• Follow all classroom guidelines, safety and employee policies of Long Hollow

• A degree in education is preferred but not required
• Must be professionally prepared as a caregiver and teacher of young children
• Be available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
• Is a team player and is driven to serve others
• Responsible, sensitive and mature adult who is able to relate well to both children and adults
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills; is humble, gentle, dignified, and respectful of others
• Is hard-working, teachable, fun-loving, dedicated and loyal
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Able to handle confidential matters discreetly and efficiently
• A background screening process is required
