Team Health is seeking an inspirational and highly skilled emergency medicine (EM) medical director to guide our dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians in providing outstanding emergency care to the Sweetwater, Tennessee, community.
Role Overview
- Provide clinical, operational, and administrative leadership for the emergency department (ED)
- Balance direct patient care with strategic oversight to ensure top-tier emergency services
- Champion a culture of quality, safety, efficiency, and compassionate care
- Oversee ED performance, including workflow optimization and quality improvement initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop the physician and APC team
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to drive departmental growth and innovation
- Support staffing, scheduling, and resource management to maintain exceptional patient experience
- Dynamic, experienced leader passionate about advancing emergency medicine
