Near Elmwood, TN We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Emergency Medicine (EM) physician to serve as the Medical Director of Emergency Medicine in a leading healthcare facility in Tennessee. This permanent, full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for a physician with strong leadership skills to lead a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians, overseeing the delivery of high-quality emergency care.
Position Highlights:
Leadership Role:
Take charge of the emergency medicine department, managing a skilled team of medical professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and improving patient outcomes. Collaboration with Hospital Leadership:
Work closely with hospital leadership to set and achieve departmental goals, ensuring alignment with the organization???s overall vision and objectives. Mentorship & Professional Development:
Provide mentorship and coaching to staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth for physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Opportunity for Advancement:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the operations of the emergency medicine department, ensuring the highest level of care for patients. Work with the hospital leadership team to improve departmental performance and achieve organizational objectives. Mentor physicians and advanced practice clinicians, offering guidance and support to foster continuous improvement in patient care. Implement best practices and evidence-based guidelines to optimize the quality of care in the emergency department.
Develop strategies to address the evolving needs of the department, balancing clinical, operational, and administrative tasks.
Position Requirements :
Board-certified in Emergency Medicine. Proven leadership experience, ideally in an emergency medicine setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and driving continuous improvement. Benefits:
