Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Temporary

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour

• Welcome customers in the dental office
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4‑handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post‑operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well‑stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

• Proven experience as a registered dental assistant (1+ year)
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks such as coronal polishing (plus)
• Good computer skills and excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail, well‑organized, reliable, and patient/friendly personality
• High school diploma; diploma or certification from a dental‑assistant school preferred (e.g., EFDA)
• Additional certification or training (e.g., EFDA) is an asset
• Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
• Dental hygiene license or proven experience as a dental hygienist is preferred
