Job DescriptionR+L Carriers is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work at our Antioch, TN Service Center. The CSR is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with customers and assisting other R & L employees in tracking and monitoring freight movement. The CSR uses customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued, resolve their issues, and promote company goals and objectives. This includes daily freight tracing with customers, assisting other terminals with freight‑related issues, and performing other related duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesMaintaining positive customer relationships, assisting with freight movement tracking, resolving customer issues, and promoting company goals.
Requirements- Strong communication and telephone skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle potentially stressful situations
- General office and customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products
- Typing speed of 30+ WPM
- 2+ years of experience as a clerk or in a similar fast‑paced role
- Freight logistics experience
