Project Manager - High-End Custom Homes

Location: Greater Pigeon Forge / East Tennessee

Compensation: Competitive base salary + allowances + performance incentives

About the Role

We are a well-established custom home builder specializing in high-end, one-of-a-kind residential projects throughout East Tennessee. Our homes are architecturally complex, detail-driven, and built for discerning clients. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who can take full ownership of luxury custom builds from pre-construction through final delivery.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communication, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-end custom home projects from contract through completion
• Oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and material procurement
• Coordinate closely with owners, architects, designers, and trade partners
• Conduct jobsite meetings and ensure quality, safety, and timelines are maintained
• Review plans, specifications, change orders, and scopes of work
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients throughout the build
• Anticipate challenges and proactively problem-solve in the field
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to luxury standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in custom residential construction
• Proven experience managing high-value, detail-intensive homes
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, estimating, and scheduling
• Ability to lead subcontractors and hold teams accountable
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field
• Experience in mountain or custom site-built homes is a strong plus
