Your RoleAs an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service. Your expertise will help diagnose and repair vehicles, all while working in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests.
- Gain experience across a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any concerns.
- Work together with fellow technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve our guests.
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience, including 2+ years specializing in European vehicles.
- Proficiency with ODIS, VCDS, or similar diagnostic systems.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- A commitment to meeting or exceeding hourly goals.
- A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- A professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- Ability to lift and/or move over 100 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Ability to work in tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficiency in navigating a computer efficiently.
