Your ResponsibilitiesAs an Automotive Technician, you will:
- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles for our valued guests.
- Gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any concerns.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to solve problems and deliver outstanding results.
This role requires:
- The ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Comfort working with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Capability to navigate tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- A brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in navigating a computer.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- 10+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Expertise in diagnostics and drive-ability issues.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
- Capability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding hourly goals.
- A willingness to learn additional skills and processes.
- A professional appearance and strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- A current driver’s license.
