Landers McLarty Toyota is looking for an Automotive Business Administrator to join our growing team!
As an Automotive Business Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work with other team members making a positive impact on our business and customers and community every day.
The Automotive Business Administrator is responsible for reviewing and processing financial data across all of the dealership departments, and provide accurate reporting to the Office Manager and Controller.
Landers McLarty Toyota is looking for the right individual that can train and grow with us. Training will be included to the right individual that is eager to learn and grow their career in the automotive industry.
Example of Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Closing retail, wholesale, and swap deals
- Verify all money collected and the accuracy of paperwork
- Reporting new vehicle sold units and incentives to the manufacturer
- Reconcile and billing of mechanical service contracts and life and disability policies
- Managing and reconciling vehicle inventory, including monthly vehicle audits
- Daily floorplan posting and payoffs
- Verifies all postings to accounting which can include but not limited to AP, AR, purchases, payments, inventories, schedules and contract registrations.
- Back up for cashier, as necessary for last minute time off or vacations
- Reconciles company credit card statements
- Research cash sales, AR and credit card balances as needed
- Reconcile and research sublet balances as needed
- Order office supplies
- Rotate and purge annual files as per the records retention policy and guidelines, as directed by management team
- Reconciles and posts the monthly FUEL statement credit accounts
- Ensures all customer and employee data is properly stored and secured.
- Compiles information and prepares reports as requested by management and/or dealer principal.
- Automotive accounting experience is a plus!
- CDK experience preferred and a plus!
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and comfortable in an open office setting.
