Job Description
Summertown Metals is looking for a motivated individual for our Accounts Payable position. This is a full‑time role that comes with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, STD, LTD, 401(k), vacation, and PTO.
Responsibilities- Execute all aspects of the accounts payable function for both STMC & STM
- Maintain vendor list
- Receive invoices and route for approval
- Enter invoices into the ERP systems and process check runs
- Maintain filing system for all payments made
- Keep accurate files of all accounts’ payable payments
- Take initiative in disputing/resolving vendor invoicing issues
- Other ad hoc requests as assigned
- Vendor credit applications
- Other projects as assigned
- Provide support/backup for accounts payable to Summertown Metals Construction/Contracting entities
- Assist with 1099s
- Any other responsibilities or tasks as needed
