Grade 3 - £24,796.00 for 18.50 hours per week for 52.14 weeks per annum equating to £12,398 pro rata. This is an open-ended position for one post of 18.5 hours. This post requires working shifts including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
As a Lifeguard your passion for swimming and love of great customer service will shine through when supervising our customers in the pool, as well as supporting the Operations team in keeping our Leisure Centre clean and tidy.
ResponsibilitiesYou will assist in maintaining appropriate standards of safety and cleanliness to ensure the maximum enjoyment by users. Duties will include supervising swimmers in the pool area and dealing with daily routine enquiries from members of the public and supervision of customers using the facilities throughout the centre.
You must possess excellent communication skills and be friendly and approachable and committed to customer service as you will provide a supportive role to our customers, providing personal attention and care at all times.
You will have an interest in sports, and you should hold RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and previous practical experience would be advantageous but not essential.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo an enhanced DBS check. Due to the qualifications and training provided the successful candidate must be 16 years and over.
