We have a delightful family in Tenafly in search of a Newborn Care Specialist for their one child due in June 2026.
Short term
7 Days/Week
Live-in 24 hour newborn care.
Mom and Dad can schedule 6 hour breaks and shorter hour weekends or 1 full weekend day off/1 full weekend day on.
They can be flexible and accommodating.
The family is open to someone who would transition to a daytime nanny after the first 4 months.
Rates are determined by both experience and overall fit.
Requirements:
- Meals: not needed
- Laundry: not needed
- Light Housekeeping: not needed - possibly restocking the diaper area
- Driving: not needed. Family is open to an hourly rate or a weekly salary – please indicate that with your job interest.
Ideal:
Certified newborn care specialist – additional training/certs in sleep.

I'm looking for someone comfortable tapering nights as sleep stabilizes, who can provide clear guidance and written routines for parent handoff.
