Job DescriptionS3I is seeking experienced FAA‑certified A&P Mechanics to support a fleet‑wide aircraft modernization and sustainment program for the Saudi Arabian military. The A&P Mechanic will perform aircraft maintenance, modification, inspection, and troubleshooting in accordance with 14 CFR and FAA Part 145 requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and experience working in military and/or general aviation environments.
Skills And Duties- Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components, including but not limited to engines, rotors, transmissions, and flight control systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, subassemblies, components, and aerospace ground support equipment (AGE).
- Assist in preparing aircraft for inspections, maintenance actions, and operational services.
- Conduct scheduled inspections, annotate aircraft logbooks and maintenance records in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Perform ground‑run operational checks, functional testing, and fault isolation/troubleshooting.
- Accomplish operator‑level maintenance on ground support equipment, test sets, and special tools.
- Diagnose and resolve moderate maintenance issues using OEM manuals, technical orders, and manufacturer documentation.
- Utilize online technical manuals and standardized aviation documentation to access critical maintenance data.
- Coordinate with supply and logistics personnel to order, receive, and install parts in accordance with work orders.
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief or Lead Mechanic.
- High School Diploma or four (4) years of direct, relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
- Graduate of a Military Aircraft Repairer Course or possession of a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands‑on aircraft maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance teams and supervise junior personnel.
- Thorough working knowledge of basic aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and safety procedures.
- Experience working under FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations.
- Prior overseas or deployed aviation maintenance experience.
Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal RecordTo qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol TestingCandidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy; employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to workplace standards and safety regulations.
