• Provide customer service and carry out security-related procedures in a retail store and parking area setting.
• Perform armed post duties, maintain control of issued equipment, and follow use-of-force guidance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor activity for unusual behavior, respond to potential issues, and use verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and local law enforcement as needed.
• Observe and report suspected shoplifting, fraud, and policy violations; support loss prevention efforts.
• Control access to restricted areas by checking credentials and verifying authorization.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist customers and associates with directions, escort requests, and general questions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and radios and communicate observations promptly.
• Participate in emergency response activities such as medical calls, fire alarms, and severe weather events by following site protocols.
• Follow all site-specific policies related to prohibited items, trespass notices, and removal of disruptive individuals, using the minimum necessary intervention.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Applies to laws related to licensing and safety compliance.
• Preferred certifications:
  Handcuffing, Baton, Armed Guard Card or License.
