The sales assistant serves as a key face-to-face contact and liaison for customers. This person generates sales while providing quick, accurate, and courteous service. They are involved in processing customer orders and inquiries, receiving material, maintaining showroom/warehouse organization, shipping materials, and preparing customer orders. Additionally, the sales assistant collaborates with other branches to ensure high-quality service across the network.
Essential Job Functions- Process customer orders on the trade counter or by phone.
- Receive warehouse materials.
- Develop and maintain customer and vendor relationships.
- Assist with customer deliveries when needed.
