Position Overview

As an RN Supervisor - Transfer Center, you will lead daily nursing operations, collaborate with management, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This leadership role focuses on patient-centered care, staff development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee daily administrative and clinical activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

* Develop, revise, and implement department policies aligned with organizational goals.

* Ensure compliance with hospital regulations and standards, including The Joint Commission.

* Supervise and mentor staff: scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.

* Support educational initiatives, research, and process improvement projects.

* Apply Lean principles to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

* Assist with annual staffing and budget planning, including capital equipment needs.

* Communicate effectively with leadership, physicians, families, and other departments.

* Conduct regular nursing rounds and provide direct patient care when necessary.

* Maintain accurate records, inventory, and reporting databases.

Qualifications & Skills

* Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain).

* Strong knowledge of nursing standards, patient care procedures, and regulatory compliance.

* Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, and ethical practices.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.

* Ability to train, evaluate, and manage staff effectively.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
