• Administers high quality, skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent professional nursing services
• Performs nursing service for patients in accordance with the physician's orders
• Delivers nursing care according to the standards of care defined within the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Clinical Practice Comfortable with Drips - Required.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit affords you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities.

Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:
• Resident Physician designated Teaching Unit
• ED door to door admissions
• Highly engaged team

• Emphasis on work/life balance We have a varied medical/telemetry population including:
• Sepsis
• Chest Pain
• Patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care- DHFT, PEGs, Wound Vacs
• Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
• Nasogastric Insertion and Maintenance
• Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring due to chest pain or arrhythmias
• Patients with GI abnormalities
