Registered Nurse (RN) Rehabilitation Unit

JOB TYPE
: PRN – PRN days, 1–2 days per week availability, 1 weekend per 6‑week schedule, 1 major holiday, 1–2 minor holidays

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred in rehabilitation.
• ASLS certification preferred.
