Role Overview
Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit that focuses on Renal Transplant, Urology, Peritoneal Dialysis, Pulmonary Hypertension, and more. Our campus is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Unit SummarySTC 3 is a 35‑bed monitored hospital unit that cares for a unique population of patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. The unit services complex urology, pulmonary hypertension, kidney and pancreas transplant, peritoneal dialysis, and radioactive implant cases. It is the only floor in the hospital equipped to perform peritoneal dialysis and to care for patients receiving radioactive therapies.
What You’ll Do- Peritoneal Dialysis management
- Epidural
- Continuous Bladder Irrigation
- Nephrostomy and Urostomy care
- Complex urinary catheter insertions and care
- Suprapubic catheter insertion and care
- Fistula access
You’ll also have the opportunity to train in ultrasound‑guided IV insertion, expanding your clinical expertise and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 6 months RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer
