Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center is seeking a Full‑time Registered Nurse to join our Ortho Trauma Progressive Care Unit (5 South). The hospital is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching facility and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Schedule: Full Time – 36 hours per week.

This is a 35‑bed monitored nursing unit that provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging from adults to geriatrics. The scope of service includes:

• Post‑ICU trauma patients (serious traumatic injury to 2 or more body systems)
• Complex plastic reconstructive surgeries (including reconstructive flaps and graft sites, post‑cancer reconstruction, and trauma‑related reconstruction)
• Complex ENT patients including free‑muscle flaps and neck dissections.
• Complex ENT reconstructive tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• Traumatic complex fractures and musculoskeletal wounds
• Elective joint replacements – Rapid Recovery Program
• Sports injuries
• Spinal deformities
• Complicated pelvic, hip, and compression fractures
• Skeletal malformations and abnormalities
• Amputations and prosthesis
• Neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery
• Medical/surgical patients including those requiring telemetry

• Graduate of an RN school of nursing
• ADN required
• Active RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer
