The FS Sanitation Supervisor supervises the sanitation staff and ensures compliance with day‑to‑day sanitation quality standards, procedures, policies, and the Master Sanitation Schedule.

• Perform and monitor daily sanitation checks throughout the entire facility
• Supervise and monitor staff adherence to sanitation practices, SSOPs; conduct training.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure timely completion of cleaning, sanitation, and facility handover to production.
• Maintain sanitation chemical inventory and calibration; replenish hygiene supplies and personal protective equipment.
• Monitors the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Participate in training and improvement strategies to achieve company, plant, and department goals.
• Supervise sanitation team members to assess their performance, manage time and attendance, and train and develop as needed.
• Perform microbiological sampling and other duties as assigned.
• Temporarily assume manager responsibilities when needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• 1-2 years of sanitation experience; preference will be given to candidates with experience in sanitation role in a food manufacturing facility
• Preference will be given to candidates with 1 year of supervisory in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or Sanitation

• This position is directly responsible for supervising the Sanitation Technicians and In-Process Sanitation Technicians.

Greenhouse, 45%

• The temperatures in the greenhouse vary depending on the weather outside
• Climate can range from hot and humid to cold depending on the location and time of year
• PPE must be worn at all times

Packhouse, 45%

• The temperatures in the packhouse are between 34-38° F to preserve product quality
• PPE must be worn at all times

Office, 10%

• Sitting at a desk and/or staring at a computer screen for extended periods of time

• Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
• Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
• Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
• Occasionally repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
