Job SummaryThis individual will pull and pack Sold Surface panels as requested to meet daily goals. Will inspect the quality of the product. This individual will work under the direction of the Foreman. Will perform other tasks as needed. This is a day shift position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Pull & Pack Solid Surface Panel orders & Flip Solid Surface panels
- Quality Inspect Solid Surface Panels
- Move inspected material to staging area
- Set up tables, pallets and skids for packing, inspection & process packing
- Band pallets
- Operate lifts
- Process Inventory Cycle Counts
- Basic computer skills
- Housekeeping, Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Evaluate the manifest for the material in production.
- Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work efficiently with an acceptable quality to work.
Education: High School Diploma or GED or will accept one year of relevant work history.
EXPERIENCE: 1+ year or work experience.
Working ConditionsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (>50 lbs) Examples: grounds staff and EMS
ENVIRONMENT: Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers
