JOB SUMMARY:

The Ultrasound Technologist Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Clinic, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs routine and complex OB/GYN Sonographic Imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospitalized patients in a Physician Office or Clinic Setting specific to Maternal Fetal Medicine as requested by a physician or other licensed provider and under general supervision of a MFM Specialist Physician for assessment and diagnosis of pregnancy conditions in accordance with established protocols.

This position must be able to effectively explain procedures to patients and be sure they are relaxed and at ease during the exam, and provide care to the patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
EXPERIENCE - One(1) Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:

• ARRT-S Sonography (ARRT-S), Reg Diag Med Sono-Abdomen (AB) (RDMS-AB), Reg Diag Med Sono-OB/GYN (OB) (RDMS-OB):
  Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers ARDMS (OB/GYN) or (AB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (S).
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE), Fetal Nuchal Translucency (NT):
  Fetal Echocardiography (FE) or Nuchal Translucency (NT) within 1 year of hire.
