What we need:

We’re currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; the #1 one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38‑bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit affords you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:

• Resident Physician designated Teaching Unit
• ED door to door admissions
• Highly engaged team
• Supportive management team
• Robust Unit Based Council

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including:

• Patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care‑DHFT, PEGs, Wound Vacs
• Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio‑cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
• Nasogastric Insertion and Maintenance
• Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring due to chest pain or arrhythmias
• Patients with GI abnormalities
• Trach care, CBI, IV Therapy

Shift: 7am to 7pm , 36hrs/week

Grad of an Accredited Program

Specialized field of study should be nursing.

A current and valid nursing license.

Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
