Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Temple, Texas. This role provides hands-on support to patients in rehabilitation while working with Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary care team.

Schedule:

Full-time (hours may vary by facility)

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility assistance
• Monitor and document patient progress and report updates to supervising PTs
• Educate patients and families on safe movement techniques and exercises
• Ensure compliance with facility standards and state practice guidelines
• Support patient recovery goals with compassion and professionalism

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant License (Texas)
• BLS certification (required)
• New graduates accepted; SNF experience preferred
• Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)
