Overview

A private equity-backed industrial platform is seeking a hands-on Controller to join its leadership team. The business was recently acquired and is entering its next phase of growth, focused on strengthening financial infrastructure, operational build-out, and expanding service capabilities.

This is a lean, high-visibility environment with direct exposure to executive leadership and ownership.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including financial modeling and variance analysis
• Own cash forecasting and treasury management
• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting
• Manage AP and AR functions and related process improvements
• Support ERP system buildout and optimization
• Develop and maintain internal controls and scalable accounting processes
• Partner with operations leadership to drive financial visibility and decision-making
• Support private equity reporting requirements and board-level materials
• Assist in building financial infrastructure to support expanding service operations

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience preferred
• Strong hands-on FP&A and financial modeling capabilities
• Experience overseeing AP/AR and cash management
• ERP implementation or system enhancement experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable operating in a lean, build-stage environment
• Experience in industrial, operational, or service-oriented businesses a plus
