Senior Application Developer

Contract Duration: 1 year + (will be long-term)

Location:
Tempe, AZ (onsite 2 days a week)

W2 ONLY - No 1099 or C2C, no 3rd party recruiters. Must be able to work on W2 without visa sponsorship.

• Looking for recent C# experience, newer versions of Angular
• SQL is their primary database along with some Oracle, SQL databases are a hard requirement
• Python is nice to have, not mandatory as some others on the team have some experience
• Onsite requirement is firm (2 days a week)
• Good communication skills, someone who can speak to non-technical and technical people. This role is somewhat client-facing.
• Ideally would like to see people with longer tenure or have longer term contracts
• Full stack – 60% backend, 40% front end (wants to see new development with Angular, not just using Angular for components)
• Will require assessments for C# and Angular

The Senior Developer position will perform duties related to the design, build, test and deployment of packaged and custom software solutions in support of Power Generation IT and OT applications. The position will perform troubleshooting, support existing applications, build requested custom applications, data analysis, recommend solutions and provide fixes to technical issues encountered by users of the team’s applications. This individual will also work with vendors and coordinate vendor application support.

There will be an on-call 24x7 rotating shift support requirement.

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

• Possess skills in C#, HTML, Angular, CSS, SQL, Oracle, Python, MVC, Azure Dev Ops
• Write high quality code that is robust and easy to maintain.
• Have knowledge and experience with web services design and implementation.
• Build flexible systems choosing simple, straightforward solutions over more complex ones.
• Have a strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and Oracle.
• Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Have experience with iterative and agile development methodologies (both Scrum and Kanban).
• Have experience in compiling comprehensive and accurate documentation to represent application design and code.
• Have strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Have comfortability coordinating and liaising with vendors.
