Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintains Facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structure, interiors, shelving, cabinets, etc., cleaning and other basic maintenance.
• Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Participates in training for existing and new equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric cart, power & hand tools; required crouching and/or crawling; able to use ladder; must lift up to 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and work independently.
• 4 years of general maintenance field experience.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.

Regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear. Frequently required to use hands to handle or grasp items. Occasionally standing, walking, reaching with both hands and arms. Occasionally required to lift items weighing 5–10 lbs.

Noise level usually moderate. Lighting includes natural light and fluorescent lighting. Job duties may change with or without advance notice.
