Position OverviewWe're seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be on the front lines of our mission — helping customers understand the benefits of solar energy and find solutions tailored to their needs. You'll educate homeowners and businesses about our solar and energy‑efficiency offerings, build relationships, and drive sales in a fast‑paced renewable energy environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProspect and Generate Leads: Identify and engage potential customers through door‑to‑door outreach, inbound inquiries, referrals, community events, and digital tools.
Consultative Sales: Conduct needs assessments with homeowners/business owners to recommend customized solar and energy‑efficiency solutions aligned with their goals and financial incentives.
Product Expertise: Educate customers on Bright Home Energy's products and services, including solar panel systems, energy storage solutions, system monitoring, and additional whole‑home energy upgrades.
Presentations & Proposals: Deliver compelling sales presentations, prepare accurate proposals, and clearly explain financial benefits such as savings, tax credits, and incentives.
Close Sales: Manage sales transactions from initial contact through contract signing, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Follow‑Up & Relationship Building: Maintain positive customer relationships through regular follow‑up, addressing questions and concerns, and supporting future referrals.
Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Customer‑Focused: Passionate about helping customers save money and join the clean energy movement.
Driven & Results‑Oriented: Self‑motivated with a goal‑driven mindset and a willingness to learn.
Adaptable: Comfortable working independently and in team settings within indoor and outdoor environments.
Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation: Required for local travel to customer meetings and community outreach.

Experience:
Prior sales experience is preferred but not required; on‑the‑job training in solar solutions will be provided.
