Pilot Practice is a fast-growing marketing and software company that helps medical and aesthetic practices scale through high-performance paid media, SEO, automation, and AI-driven lead management. We manage campaigns for 200+ practices nationwide and are expanding our high-performance team at our new Tempe, AZ office on Mill Avenue.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a high-octane Account Executive who thrives on owning the entire sales cycle. In this role, you won’t just wait for the phone to ring—you will be the engine of your own success. You will manage a consistent flow of up to 5 warm, qualified inbound leads per day (in the form of scheduled demos), while simultaneously driving outbound prospecting to high-value targets.
To support your efforts, you will also manage and mentor a dedicated Sales Development Representative (SDR), ensuring your pipeline stays full and your demos are high-quality. This is a high-reward role for a sales leader who is comfortable leading product demos, managing a team member, and aggressively hitting monthly quotas through a mix of inbound conversion and outbound grit.
- Own the Pipeline: Close a high volume of inbound leads while maintaining a proactive outbound strategy to reach monthly sales quotas.
- Lead & Mentor: Directly manage an SDR to optimize lead flow, improve cold outreach tactics, and maximize your calendar of demos.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct discovery calls and tailored product demos, presenting Pilot Practice’s marketing, CRM, and AI automation solutions with a value-driven approach.
- Outbound Strategy: Identify and prospect high-value medical and aesthetic practices through cold calling, email sequences, and Linked In outreach.
- CRM Mastery: Track all opportunities and performance within our CRM (High Level/Hub Spot/Salesforce).
- Seamless Transitions: Collaborate with onboarding and client success teams to ensure a world-class post-sale experience.
- Proven Track Record: 3–5 years of sales experience, specifically in a marketing agency or SaaS environment (Required).
- Leadership Potential: Experience managing or mentoring junior sales staff/SDRs is highly preferred.
- The "Hunter" Mentality: While you love inbound leads, you aren't afraid to pick up the phone and generate your own opportunities.
- Expert Knowledge: A strong understanding of digital marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO) and/or the healthcare industry.
- Quota Driven: A history of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets in high-lead-volume environments.
- Location: Based in or near Tempe, AZ — hybrid in-office presence at our Mill Avenue location is required.
