Position: Retail Sales Associate - 3712

Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate

Pay: $15.25 to $18.00 per hour. Commission up to 8% on transactions, averaging additional $2.88 per hour.

Position Summary

Entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. Partners with store staff to ensure customer service on lending and retail sides. Engages customers, processes sales, loans, and other transactions, and resolves inquiries.

Responsibilities
  • Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport.
  • Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
  • Makes sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
  • Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Answers incoming calls per company standards.
  • Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
  • Communicates with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
  • Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
  • Successfully completes assigned training.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Willing and able to stand, stoop, walk, climb, push, pull, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • May be asked to assist a customer on building exterior or retrieve products stored in exterior storage.
  • Minimum age 18.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic math calculations proficient.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Flexible location work as business needs dictate.
  • Flexibly work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan Information

Pawnbrokers have potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview.
