This position is for Arizona State University Athletics at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe, Arizona.

The role involves supervising, training, and managing the food service operation, ensuring that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

• Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production records if needed.
• Direct daily activities of the food service operation.
• Maintain food safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
• Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules; ensure food items are served per menu specifications safely and properly.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following health and safety codes and regulations.
• Keep accurate inventory records weekly according to departmental policies.
• Prepare orders from vendors as needed to ensure proper production levels.
• Operate an efficient, cost-effective program.
• Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.

• Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Complete a sanitation course before or during the first year as a lead.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Resolve interpersonal situations effectively.
• Strong organizational skills.

Minimum education required:
High School Diploma or GED.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
