** THIS POSITION IS FOR ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS AT MOUNTAIN AMERICA STADIUM IN TEMPE, ARIZONA **

The Steward serves various back-of-house food & beverage roles, including dishwashing, deep cleaning the kitchen and equipment, and other miscellaneous duties. Stewards must maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, stock and manage food and beverage supplies, and interact directly with guests. This role provides extensive knowledge of equipment cleaning and maintenance, such as steamers, ovens, mixers, grills, and dishwashers.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant kitchen environment at all times
• Perform opening and closing side work as required
• Keep store rooms and refrigerators clean and organized
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and quality standards
• Complete daily time and temperature control logs for HACCP compliance
• Maintain a positive demeanor in high-stress situations
• Operate dishwashing equipment, including setup, loading, and unloading
• Ensure dishwashing machine cleanliness, including filter maintenance
• Place clean dishes on shelves for reuse
• Stock food and beverage outlets
• Manually wash pots and pans thoroughly
• Keep kitchen floors swept and mopped
• Empty trash cans and maintain dumpster areas
• Report safety hazards or unsafe practices immediately
• Follow all safety, security, emergency, and energy policies
• Arrive on time in proper uniform
