Marketing and Game Presentation Graduate Assistant

Sun Devil Athletics is seeking two qualified candidates for the position of Graduate Assistant in the Marketing and Game Presentation Department. These individuals will provide support for the marketing and game presentation needs of Sun Devil Athletics and assigned sport programs. Graduate Assistants will report to the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Game Presentation within Sun Devil Athletics, with the goal of using marketing and promotion strategies extensively in an effort to generate revenue, maximize attendance and to create an engaging, exciting, game environment.

• Develop and execute marketing and game presentation campaigns for Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Softball, Soccer, Women’s Lacrosse and Wrestling
• Establish strategic initiatives across all sports to activate lead generation in the local community and engage the Sun Devil Athletics fan base
• Work to increase media engagement through unique partnership opportunities with area corporations and advertisers
• Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree required, enrollment in ASU graduate courses (employment contingent upon proof of enrollment in graduate courses post hire offer) Knowledge of MS Office and the Adobe creative suite.

One (1) year of post‑graduate experience in sports marketing or game presentation. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey ideas, plans, and strategies to Sun Devil Athletics coaches, administrators, and staff. Proven ability to develop and implement creative, original ideas and integrate them into the marketing strategy for assigned sports programs. Experience writing creatively and producing scripts for television, radio, email, and print advertisements.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

The position is a 24‑month assistantship with a start date of July 1, 2026. Compensation includes base tuition and a monthly stipend of $1,000, but does not include graduate school program specific fees. The position is designed for candidates who will be pursuing a master’s degree in an evening program, and will be renewed for a second year of study based on performance.
