The Production Worker I is responsible for operating and maintaining various production equipment while adhering to performance standards and safety regulations.

• Start up, operate, tend, and stop a variety of automated equipment, including machinery for part grinding, shaping foam material, cutting, gluing, assembly, and packaging for shipping.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Monitor work for conformance to specifications; stop production of non‑conforming parts or products and notify supervisor or quality inspector.
• Complete production and quality forms, document actions, and report equipment faults to supervisors.
• Work effectively in a team setting and take instructions from supervisors and the production manager.

• Experience operating automated machinery.
• Hands‑on experience gluing and assembling foam parts.
• Experience with equipment for part grinding and shaping.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced open‑shop environment.
• Adaptability to changing work tasks throughout the day.

• Mechanically inclined, hands‑on production experience.
• Knowledge of ISO, LEAN, or other quality systems.
