Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring a Techpack Designer for a fast-paced manufacturing company specializing in apparel and industrial textile products. This is a hands‑on production role ideal for candidates with prior industrial sewing experience and a strong eye for detail.

Position: Techpack Designer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Type: 32–40 hours weekly | Long‑Term Contract

Current

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Peak

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

(Closed for 3–4 weeks during the summer, then move into Peak schedule)

Pay: $16–18/hr (DOE)

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines including single‑needle, overlock (3‑thread and 5‑thread), and specialty equipment.
  • Modify measurements and make minor pattern or construction adjustments when necessary to maintain quality and cost control.
  • Monitor product flow on the production floor to reduce bottlenecks and maintain efficiency.
  • Review production orders and coordinate workflow to meet daily delivery goals.
  • Construct finished goods accurately based on blueprints, specifications, and production documentation.
  • Use measuring tools (tape measures, go/no‑go gauges) to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of stitching consistency and garment construction.
  • Support ironing, steaming, finishing, and quality control processes as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures.
  • In peak season, you will be helping with production.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional sewing, garment construction, and technical design experience.
  • Advanced experience with industrial sewing machines (single‑needle, overlock, specialty machines).
  • Strong background in pattern drafting, garment construction, and fit adjustments.
  • Experience reviewing and managing production workflows to eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, spec sheets, and production documentation.
  • Experience modifying patterns and measurements to maintain production flow.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven manufacturing environments.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to support team‑based production operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production tracking tools preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control standards.
