The Position
This entry-level position reports to the Chief Inspector and plays a key role in ensuring aircraft parts and materials are received, processed, documented and shipped accurately.
Responsibilities
* Unpack and visually inspect incoming aircraft parts and materials
* Receive and record materials used in the repair of aircraft components
* Prepare and package parts for outside repair or processing
* File and maintain repair order paperwork and related documentation
* Maintain the photo database and manage records inventory, storage and proper disposal
Qualifications
* Must comply with DOT-mandated drug and alcohol screening
* U.S. citizen or permanent resident
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
* Basic computer literacy (data entry, records management)
* Previous experience in materials handling within an FAA Part 145 repair station preferred but not required
