Position: US - Assembly Mechanic - Level 1 - Lifting 30lbs or less moderate machine operation
Description:

We are hiring 3 Assembly Mechanics for the Honeywell facility in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This role involves assembling, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment and components in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
Important Details:

Pay Rate: XX20.50/hour
US Citizenship required
Eligible for Subco Bonus Program:

XX1,000 after 14 days with perfect attendance
$1,000 after 60 days
$1,000 after 90 days (must have received the 14-day bonus)
Total potential bonus: XX3,000

Timekeeping: TWB system

Key Responsibilities

Construct and Assemble:
Assemble mechanical components to meet quality standards
Maintenance and Testing:
Perform routine maintenance and verify functionality
Part Identification:
Identify worn or damaged parts for replacement
Order Placement:
Order new parts as needed
Reporting:
Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor

Special Considerations

Physical Demands:
Lifting up to 30 lbs without significant repetition
Exposure Risks:
Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, and physical risks
Equipment Operation:
May operate powered industrial trucks

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

0-2 years in assembly or related field

Skills:

Familiarity with mechanical assembly concepts
Ability to follow established guidelines
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
