3D Printer Technician

Overview

Our client, a leader in Medical Device Manufacturing, is seeking a 3D Printer Model Finisher to join their team. As a 3D Model Finisher, you will be part of the Digital Engineering (DE) Department supporting the 3D Printing & Prototyping Team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset.

3D Printer Model Finisher
Pay: $21/hour
Type: 12 month Contract to hire

Location:

Tempe, AZ
Environment: 3D Printing Lab

Hours:

8 hours/day, M-F, flexible start times (7:00 am – 9:00 am)

• Will be working in a 3D Printing lab and work as a 3D model finisher – these are medical part prototypes
• Will do the post processing of 3D printed parts: take parts off printer, sand, clean, hand finish

• Looking for someone wanting to be a technician and grow in that role
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals and performing hands-on, detailed work. PPE provided.
• High School diploma or AS degree at most; no pursuit of engineer work or engineer degree
• Not afraid to speak up and ask questions
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Candidates do not need any 3D printing experience – on-the-job training; 3D printing or 3D design experience (e.g., Solid Works) is a plus

• Line cook in a restaurant or fast-food kitchen
• Someone who builds models (cars, planes, etc.)
• Someone with a home 3D printer they tinker with
