Overview

The Assembly B – Exhaust Processor is responsible for producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications while maintaining required inventory levels. This role involves operating in a clean room environment, following detailed procedures, monitoring analytical data, and supporting production schedules while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • United States citizenship required for security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and receive security clearance within six months of hire
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to perform basic functions on a PC and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to wear clean room attire and work in a clean room environment.
  • Demonstrated speed and accuracy in completing trained tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Experience
  • Related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • One to three years of relevant experience desired.
Responsibilities
  • Produce quality products that meet customer specifications and production requirements.
  • Interpret data from analytical and diagnostic equipment to make informed decisions
  • Follow written procedures and complete assigned work on schedule while maintaining acceptable yields.
  • Apply knowledge of mechanical, chemical, and electrical safety procedures
  • Utilize hand tools and follow documented process procedures for image tube processing.
  • Monitor meters and sensing devices measuring vacuum, temperature, and torque
  • Maintain accurate records using the onsite Quality Tracking System.
  • Identify equipment or quality issues and communicate deviations to engineering teams.
  • Adhere to vacuum handling and clean room best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills
  • Manufacturing and clean room operations.

  • Statistical Process Control fundamentals.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Quality tracking and documentation.
  • Multi-tasking and process monitoring.
Should Have
  • Experience with ultra-high vacuum technology or semiconductor processing.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and 5S principles.
  • Ability to monitor multiple exhaust stations simultaneously.
  • Strong reliability and consistent attendance.
  • Self-driven approach to meeting production goals.
Qualification And Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or post-secondary education preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience acceptable.
