As a Medical Device Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly in a cleanroom environment. Working under moderate supervision, you will assemble medical devices according to good manufacturing practices, manufacturing flow, specific standard operating, and safety procedures. In addition to contributing to the Medtronic mission, you'll also be investing in your career! This is a full time, benefits eligible, direct hire opportunity.
We currently have openings on the night shift. Night shift schedule is as follows:
- C-Shift: 5:30 pm - 5:30 am. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday.
This position has a set hourly starting rate at $19.90/hour, plus a $2.70/hour shift differential = $22.60/hour.

Responsibilities- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
- Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
- Sets initial layouts and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
- Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Assemble medical devices according to the validated procedure
- Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions
- Comply with all Controlled Environment Area (CEA) / Cleanroom / FAB protocol, including personal hygiene, gowning procedures, and safety procedures
- Ensure continuous flow of work in process (wafers / batteries / device)
- Perform quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
- Accurately enter data into tracking system
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member in a manner that is conducive to a positive work environment

Minimum Requirements- Requires full job knowledge of production-related systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
- Requires minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
- Previous manufacturing/production experience
- Experience working in a clean room environment
- Experience with low and high-power microscopes
- Semiconductor and Wafer Fab experience in the following areas:
