Brief DescriptionThis position is responsible for the efficient day‑to‑day operations of the department, ensuring the completion of administrative duties and tasks. The Operations Supervisor works directly below the Operations Manager or Director of Operations and ensures departmental functions are performing at a level consistent with Mountain Park Health Center standards.
Essential Functions- Provides oversight of team to ensure tasks are completed correctly and timely.
- Organizes and prioritizes tasks to ensure staff is not overloaded.
- Addresses issues or barriers in real time and provides feedback to the manager about any issues and barriers they are addressing.
- Coaches staff on corrective actions and identifies areas of improvement, formulating solution recommendations. Provides feedback regarding areas of improvement and submits recommendations to the manager or director.
- Makes decisions on hiring and terminations for the department.
- Provides direction and feedback on performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Oversees employee performance and compliance, performing regular audits and rounds to ensure adherence to all applicable workplace policies and practices.
- Oversees employee schedules and timecards, reviewing time‑off requests and ensuring timecards are accurate.
- Assists manager or director with interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees.
- Assists with the handling of patient complaints and prepares incident reports for leadership team review. Maintains and adjusts templates for eClinical
Works (ECW) Provider schedules, staff call lists and directories, provider productivity reports, and other department‑related reports. - Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certificate.
- Two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Two (2) years healthcare leadership experience.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Registered medical assistant (RMA) or certified medical assistant (CMA) credential.
