Senior Project Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to take charge of high-value and complex projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you’ll drive excellence in safety, quality, timelines, and budgets while managing project scope, schedules, risk, and team performance.

Salary:
Competitive annual salary starting at $135,000, plus company vehicle (optional) with fuel card. Range $135,000 to $165,000

Qualifications We’re Looking For

• Experience:
  Minimum 5+ years in senior project management, ideally within the industrial or commercial electrical field. Water industry experience is a plus.
• Educational Background:
  Bachelor’s degree in project management, electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• Industry Expertise:
  Proven background in electrical systems or related trades.
• Location:
  Must reside in the Phoenix Metro area and be available for full-time work.
• Leadership:
  Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
• Compliance:
  Must pass background and driver’s record checks to access secure facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of project plans, defining scope, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Monitor and manage project financials, including contracts, payroll, expenses, and materials, while maintaining excellent client relationships.
• Oversee procurement activities, negotiate purchase orders and subcontracts, and ensure timely delivery.
• Drive project performance by setting clear objectives, fostering collaboration, and proactively resolving issues.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Administer tools, materials, and resource planning to meet project goals efficiently.
• Provide detailed progress reports and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Skills & Tools Required

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Planner).
• Strong familiarity with Bluebeam software and other project management tools.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Deep understanding of industry practices, construction technology, and relevant codes and standards.
