Senior Technical Business Analyst Position Logistics

• Schedule: Standard business hours
• Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week
• Contract Duration: Through January 2027, full time

One of the largest multi-college public higher education systems in the country is undergoing a major enterprise transformation. The organization is launching a new centralized student application and modernizing key administrative systems.

This is a high-visibility, senior-level opportunity to help shape how enrollment, admissions, and financial services operate across a complex, multi-entity environment.

Position Overview
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will support a large-scale systems implementation focused on integration and automation across:

• Recruitment & Admissions
• Enrollment & Records
• Financial Aid
• Fraud & Identity Management
• Tuition Classification

This individual will step into an active implementation already in motion and immediately support the first production release, followed by broader enterprise rollout efforts.

Key Responsibilities Business Process Mapping & Transformation (60%)

• Lead current-state and future-state process analysis across multiple colleges and administrative offices
• Redesign workflows to support centralized, automated systems
• Develop comprehensive documentation of business rules, requirements, and integrations
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, standardization, and compliance

Project & Stakeholder Coordination (20%)

• Partner with project leadership and executive stakeholders
• Collaborate with functional leaders across Student Affairs and administrative divisions
• Support sprint activities, build validation, and enterprise readiness efforts

Training, UAT & Adoption (20%)

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution
• Assist with training materials and knowledge transfer
• Provide light reporting support, including basic dashboards in Tableau

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience in large, complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrated expertise in process mapping and organizational transformation
• Strong documentation and requirements gathering skills
• Technically proficient - able to bridge business and IT teams
• Experience supporting system integrations and automation initiatives

Preferred

• Experience in higher education (enrollment, admissions, records, or financial aid)
• Experience working across multi-entity or matrixed organizations
