The role involves executing both formalized and free-form test scripts for various Point-of-Sale (POS) platforms across supported brands. Responsibilities include testing new releases, upgrades, fixes, and campaigns. The position requires creating and executing end-to-end test plans, managing all test activities to ensure objectives are met, and documenting detailed test scripts, test notes, and defects. Timely escalation of quality issues and regular status updates during the testing cycle are essential.
Additional duties include developing and maintaining system documentation, troubleshooting test host connection issues, assisting end-users, and contributing to training materials. The role also supports testing and quality assurance of Enterprise forms, adheres to current support processes while recommending improvements, and documents updates. Participation in special projects and collaboration to achieve organizational goals and share knowledge are also key aspects of the position.
