Sr Linux/VMware Administrator

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Sr Linux/VMware Administrator for a contract opportunity. This role will be based out of either Tempe, AZ or New Castle, DE.

Sr Linux/VMware Administrator – Job Details

Provide Linux RHEL support and VMware support in a large complex environment. Includes on-call support. Mandatory to have RHEL 6.x – RHEL 7.x.

Sr Linux/VMware Administrator – Mandatory Skills

• Red Hat Linux 7 - RHCSA - RHEL 6.x – RHEL 7.x or RHCE certification;
  Linux scripting skills such as bash, perl, shell scripting, etc.
• VMware ESXi 5.x – 6.x (VMware certification preferred).
• Firewall/Networking/IT Security exposure & troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically (Email, Instant Messaging, etc.)
• Previous experience working in a virtual team environment
• Desired, but not mandatory:
  Vmware SRM 5.x - 6.x; RHN Satellite 5.x – 6.x;
  Windows Systems Administration; AIX Administration
• Exposure to EMC Storage – Unisphere VMAX, Recover Point
• Exposure to Cisco MDS SAN switches
• Exposure to Cisco UCS
• Exposure to Red Hat Clustering
• Exposure to Dell hardware
