School IT Support Technician

Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid | Limited AZ travel)

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Pinnacle Charter Schools is seeking a hands‑on IT Support Technician to serve as the primary owner of all school IT systems
. This role supports a small charter school network and requires someone comfortable handling day‑to‑day user support while maintaining core IT infrastructure.

This position is ideal for a strong generalist who enjoys ownership, problem‑solving, and working independently in a small organization.

• Serve as the main point of contact for all IT support requests
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, and VOIP systems
• Administer RDWeb / Remote Desktop Services
• Support AWS‑based services (storage and infrastructure)
• Deploy and support Windows devices; assist with Chromebook administration
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Use scripting/automation (Power Shell or similar) to streamline tasks
• Provision/de‑provision system access and maintain system reliability

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of IT support experience
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with RDWeb, AWS, VOIP systems
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership
• Must reside in Arizona
• Valid AZ driver’s license (or ability to obtain)

• Chromebook management experience
• Scripting/automation experience
• A+, Network+, MCP, or similar certifications
